Curtis Cloke is an award-winning financial advisor and retirement professional, trainer, and speaker with over 25 years of experience in income distribution planning. Recognized in 2009 as a top-five finalist for Advisor of the Year by Senior Market Advisor magazine, Curtis provides all of his clients with experienced financial and retirement guidance. With his personable character and genuine care for clients' retirement needs and concerns, Curtis creates a custom-tailored retirement plan specific to each client. Curtis is an Adjunct Instructor with The American College of Financial Planning in Bryn Mawr, PA for the Retirement Income Certified Professionals (RICP®) designation.
Curtis is a renowned and active member throughout the financial service industry. He is member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and is a former president of the Southeast Iowa Association. He is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP) and is a qualifying member of Top of the Table with the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He has earned his CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care) and LUTCF (Life Underwriters Training Council) designations, and moderates development courses for the Life Underwriters Training Council. He has also developed and provided continuing education training to professionals on many topics relating to retirement and estate-planning strategies. His innovative software tools are used by top professionals in the financial services industry.
Curtis began his career as a financial professional with Prudential Financial in 1987. After merging his company with another firm in 2004, he established Acuity Financial Advisors in 2014.

He joined his father’s practice (Curtis Cloke) and has worked in the financial industry since 2008, and has earned his associate of arts, his associate of applied science, and his CLTC designation.
In addition to assisting his clients with their money management and retirement needs as his primary focus, he also provides for the team services for individual health, Medicare supplements, life, long-term care, and other related insurance services.
Personal Interests: Spending time with his wife and children, fishing, hunting, and going to car shows.
Office Manager and Registered Sales Assistant
Michele serves as the Office Manager for Acuity Financial and is Curtis Cloke's personal assistant. She coordinates special events, manages the office, works closely with employees, and supports clients with administrative matters as a registered sales assistance. She enjoys the constantly changing nature of the financial services business, and loves her role in enabling clients to help plan for a more secure retirement. Michele has been in the financial industry since 2002 and has served in her current role since 2011. She has earned her Series 6 & 63 Securities registration and her Iowa life and health Insurance license.
Personal Interests: Running half marathons, attending concerts, traveling, and family.
New Business Coordinator, Associated Person
Brittny is responsible for new business development, assisting with preparation and follow-up for prospective and current clients, account reviews for client meetings, and additional service support. She graduated magna cum laude from Iowa State University, earning her bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, with an emphasis on consumer behavior and marketing. Her background equips her with a strong eye for detail and accuracy, and a creative punch, which has allowed her to bring innovative ideas to Acuity Financial. By helping clients work towards achieving their retirement goals and peace of mind, she finds financial services a rewarding career path.
Personal Interests: Spending time with her husband and daughter. Scrapbooking, crafting, DIY projects, and watching a good football game.
CFP, EA, Associated Person
Robert joined the Acuity team in 2014 as our Para Planner. He works extensively on all retirement plans and quotes to find the perfect options for our clients. He incorporates a broad level of estate, income tax, investment and insurance knowledge from his CFP and IRS enrolled agent designations. Robert works remotely from his home office in Hightstown, NJ, but daily continues to be a vital part of our team.
Personal Interests: Spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
